Workshop Planning Service Guidelines
Our workshop planners were designed to offer you a great deal of flexibility in your workshop format. There are however certain guidelines that we would respectfully ask you to follow.
You will find these guidelines below, including some commonly asked questions about their implementation. These guidelines are quite specific, and fairly detailed as in many cases they reflect issues that have cropped up with regards to the appropriate use of the class planners.
Although for ease of reading you can click on the links below to each individual section, please ensure that you fully read the information contained on this page.
If after reading the information below you are unsure about anything or have any questions, please do not hesitate to email us: andrea@demotodemo.com. This is the quickest and easiest way to get a hold of us.
Of the provided resources, the customer handout is the only resource designed to be distributed - but ONLY to your workshop customers. You may choose to give it to all workshop customers, however from our experience, it is more effective to use them as an incentive to place an order with you.
Can I share the workshop planner & associated materials with my downline? The workshop planner and its associated materials (i.e. workshop packing checklist, shopping checklist, customer handout) were created for your personal use only. We ask that you please do not share this planner and its associated materials with ANY other Stampin' Up! demonstrators. A lot of time is invested in the development of our resources - in order to pay for the time we invest in the creation of the planners while keeping the price affordable for you, we rely on volume of sales. If every demonstrator were to share these resources with their downline, who then shared it with their downline etc., it would result in enough lost sales for us that over time it would no longer be feasible for us to be able to continue to offer these resources.
If a colleague or downline member is interested in the workshop planner, please refer them to www.demotodemo.com or contact us at andrea@demotodemo.com. There is an affiliate program available so that you can earn discounts on the purchase of future products, based on your referrals. For more information click HERE.
Because of the nature of the workshop projects, were we to publish the full picture of the projects, they would be too easy to CASE. As a result, in our advertising we only offer a sneak peek of the projects. As part of the workshop planning package we provide you with this same "sneak peek" photo to use in your own online advertising. That way, you can advertise your upcoming workshops and entice bookings by offering a peek of the projects your hostesses and their guests will get to make. As part of the workshop planning package, in preparation for your
workshops, you will need to make the project samples and alternate
samples. In order to keep these projects proprietary, and in order
to ensure that only those who have invested in the workshop planner
benefit from it, we ask that you please DO NOT publish full pictures
of ANY of theses sample on your DBWS or blog. Using the Customer Handouts - As part of your workshop planning package we provide you with a customer handout that includes a picture, supply list, dimensions and directions for re-creating all three workshop projects. This handout is intended to be used as an incentive to encourage your customers to order from you the supplies needed to re-create your workshop project(s). We suggest that you bring with you a copy of the customer handout, so they can see what they will get if they place an order. Once the order is placed there are several ways you may choose to distribute the handout to them:
The customer instructions may not be sold alone either to your customers or to other demonstrators.
